1- Hi Sherouk! It’s great to meet you. Please tell us a bit about yourself and your journey influencer & actress.

Sure! I was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1996. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been passionate about performing.

I pursued this passion by attending the Institute of Acting and Directing and eventually becoming a professional actor.

I have performed in many films and series, like Pinprick and Just Vanished, as well as TV shows such as Mazag alkher, illa Ana 2, and Thawrat alharim as a child actor.

2.  What do you think sets your comedy apart from other peers?

The main thing that sets my comedy apart is that it is relatable.

People can easily relate to the everyday characters and stories in my videos. I create content that connects with people personally.

3.  What was the turning point in your career that caused your videos to go viral?

The turning point came when I released the video “Habibi, Can You Send Me My Salary Again?” This video put a strong impact on many people in the UAE and the vast world since it discussed a common issue, that many people face.

Surprisingly, it got 10 million views! Other popular videos I created include “Dubai Carrefour Is A Lifer“, which was shared widely among the UAE ex-pat community.

4.  What advice do you have for aspiring comedians and content creators just starting?

My advice is to stay true to yourself and your creativity. Don’t be afraid to go outside the box and explore new concepts, stories, and ideas.

Listen to feedback from others but also have a strong vision for what you want to create. Also, don’t forget to have fun and make comedy for yourself, too, not just for others.
